This week on Beyond the Bat Signal, I’m joined by Bill Bere from The Bat-Pod to tackle one simple question: Which Batman comics deserve the live-action treatment?

We each bring our Top 3 Batman stories we’d love to see adapted for the big screen, breaking down what makes each comic special, why it could work as a movie, and how we’d like to see it brought to life.

From iconic stories that have somehow been overlooked by Hollywood to darker corners of Gotham that could give us something completely different from the Batman films we’ve seen before, we’re making our case for the Batman movies we want to see.

Which Batman comic would you choose for the next live-action movie?

Gotham gets a little darker as Beyond the Bat Signal dives into two more episodes of Batman: Caped Crusader!

In “The Spectral Hand,” Batman finds himself caught in a chilling mystery involving a seemingly supernatural threat, forcing the Dark Knight to confront an enemy that may be more than meets the eye. Then, in “Sudden Fear,” Bruce Wayne becomes entangled in a dangerous psychological battle as fear itself becomes the weapon.

We’re breaking down the mysteries, villains, character moments, noir atmosphere, and standout scenes from both episodes — while exploring how Caped Crusader continues to put its own unique spin on the world of Batman.

🦇 Two episodes. Two very different kinds of fear. One Dark Knight.

Tune in to Beyond the Bat Signal as we continue our journey through Batman: Caped Crusader!

In this episode of Beyond the Bat Signal, I dive into Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2 - episodes 3 and 4 and share my thoughts.

Does Bruce Timm and the creative team build on the strong foundation of Season 1? How does this darker, noir-inspired Gotham continue to evolve? And do these opening chapters set the stage for what could be an even stronger season?

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has finally arrived, but does it deserve to stand alongside the greatest Batman games ever made?

In this episode of Beyond the Bat Signal, I share my full review of the latest LEGO Batman adventure. We explore how the game celebrates nearly every era of the Dark Knight, from the classic comics and animated series to Burton, Nolan, Reeves, and beyond, while blending LEGO's signature humour with surprisingly satisfying gameplay.

I'll discuss what makes this such a heartfelt tribute to Batman's incredible legacy, where it succeeds as both a LEGO game and a Batman experience, and why, despite all it does right, it may stop just short of leaving the same lasting impact as the legendary Arkham series.

Whether you're a lifelong Batman fan, a LEGO enthusiast, or simply wondering if this game is worth your time, this episode breaks down everything you need to know.

Is LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight the ultimate love letter to the Caped Crusader? Tune in to find out.

Should Batman exist in a shared universe, or is he at his best as Gotham’s lone protector?

In this episode of Beyond the Bat Signal, I explore one of the biggest debates in Batman history: should the Dark Knight remain grounded in his own world, or stand alongside Superman, Wonder Woman, and the Justice League? From Matt Reeves and Christopher Nolan to Tim Burton and Zack Snyder, I examine both sides of the argument and ask one simple question:

Does Batman become stronger in a shared universe or is he better off alone?
